While kayaking today I came across a raccoon on the edge of the Pawcatuck River in Rhode Island. It was rubbing its head and screaming, almost like a barking sound. While watching it another HUGE raccoon appeared on the other side of the river, jumped in and swam over to the injured raccoon. An epic battle began. Sadly this is all I recorded because my memory card was full.....the huge raccoon realized I was there at the end and came towards me. I backed up down the river a little and he went off, back across the river. I could hear him walking around...I assume he was waiting for me to leave to go back and finish the other one off.
